
Muscular Dystrophy Canada Opens 2026 Neuromuscular Research Grant Competition
Muscular Dystrophy Canada (MDC) is now accepting applications for its annual Neuromuscular Research Grant Program, which offers two funding streams: Translational Science Grants and Clinical Research Grants.
This program invests in projects focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and clinical care of neuromuscular disorders. It is designed to:
- Address gaps in the current funding landscape
- Enable researchers to develop innovative pilot and feasibility studies
- Support proof-of-concept research in preparation for larger-scale grants
- Foster partnerships between researchers and the neuromuscular community
