Dr. Omid Kiamanesh MD, FRCPC is a transplant cardiologist and echocardiography specialist at the University of Calgary with a clinical and research focus on genetic cardiomyopathy. He serves as Director of the Broderick Cardiac Neuromuscular Clinic, which provides specialized care for individuals across Southern Alberta living with cardiac manifestations of neuromuscular disease. Dr. Kiamanesh is funded by Genome Alberta, Genome BC, the Broderick Cardiomyopathy Program, and the University of Calgary to advance cardiomyopathy diagnosis and care. He also serves as the Cardiovascular Lead for the NMD4C National Neuromuscular Lecture Series, contributing to the development, delivery, and delegation of cardiovascular neuromuscular curriculum content. Within the NMD4C, Dr. Kiamanesh is a member of the Curriculum Development Working Group and serves as the Cardiovascular Lead for the National Neuromuscular Lecture Series (NNLS).
