This is an independent clinical/academic webinar with organizational and technical support provided by NMD4C and MDC.
Learning Objectives:
- Review DMD pathophysiology
- Summarize current glucocorticoid treatment approaches in DMD
- Present data on vamorolone for treatment of DMD
- Identify key endocrine complications of long-term glucocorticoid therapy, with emphasis on adrenal suppression, osteoporosis, growth, and weight gain.
- Implement coordinated neuromuscular–endocrine care strategies to support safe treatment transitions in DMD.
