Parent Project aps is pleased to organize and host the first International Conference on Becker muscular dystrophy, aimed at the Italian and international patient community.

The event, co-organized by Parent Project aps and Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD), in collaboration with Treat-NMD, will take place on October 10 and 11, 2026 in Assago (Milan) at the NH Milano Congress Centre.

The Conference will feature leading experts in a comprehensive program that will address both medical-scientific and psychological-social aspects, allowing patients, family members, clinicians, and other key stakeholders in the BMD network to come together for two days of dialogue and in-depth discussion. The scientific sessions will alternate with round tables that will give space to voices from the patient community. The event will be simultaneously translated in 4 languages (Italian, English, Spanish and French).

The title of the event is Painting the Community Together, chosen to highlight the tremendous growth and dedication of the people with BMD who make up the community. This inaugural conference aims to be a pivotal moment for the national and international network, offering opportunities for professional development and in-depth exploration dedicated exclusively to Becker muscular dystrophy.
