WMS members are invited to join the online Myology Café on Thursday, 30 July for the last of three member-only educational workshop sessions focusing on the abstract process from start to finish.

This third session will guide you through turning your abstract into a clear, engaging presentation with effective slides, including:

• how to structure a presentation based on your abstract
• how to design simple, impactful slides
• how to communicate your key findings clearly and confidently
• common mistakes to avoid in short presentations

The session will be particularly valuable for early to mid-career researchers and first-time presenters preparing their submissions for WMS 2026. The WMS senior leadership is getting involved and each workshop session will be co-hosted by an Executive Board member, Programme Committee member or abstract reviewer, alongside an experienced presenter/submitter and a WMS 2025 first-time presenter (prize winner). As usual, WMS will feature Wordly live translation during the workshop, allowing attendees to follow the session in their preferred language in real time. However, unlike our regular Myology Cafés, this session will be recorded and made available for WMS members to view afterwards.

The Myology Café is a bi‑monthly virtual meet‑up designed to strengthen international connections across the NMD community. Wordly live translation is available for all attendees, and both WMS members and non‑members are welcome.
