Did you know RareKids-CAN offers a range of subsidized services for investigator-initiated (academic-led) pediatric rare disease clinical trials?
RareKids-CAN will cover 100% of the cost for the following services:
- Pre-award consultation to support protocol development and grant applications
- Regulatory submissions to Health Canada (including providing support during the pre-CTA meeting)
- Registry concierge services
- Centralized ethics submissions
For advanced therapy medicinal product (ATMP) trials, including gene, cell, and antisense oligonucleotide therapies, RareKids-CAN will also cover 100% of the cost for database development, offering a project-specific electronic case report form (eCRF) built in a validated REDCap database hosted by the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute (WCHRI). Database management services are available on a cost-recovery basis.
