Biography

Dr. Daria Trojan is a Physiatrist and an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at McGill University, and a Professeure associée in the Department of Medicine at the Université de Montréal.  She works as a Physiatrist primarily at the Montreal Neurological InstituteHospital, McGill University, and also at the Jewish Rehabilitation Hospital in Laval, Quebec and the Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre: ConstanceLethbridge Site in Montreal. She is a clinical researcher. Her research studies have focused on the late effects of poliomyelitis, and in recent years on fatigue and sleep abnormalities in multiple sclerosis. She is the local principal investigator at the Montreal Neurological InstituteHospital for a multi-center, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial of intravenous immunoglobulin for post-polio syndrome patients
