Biography

Stephanie Plamondon, MD, FRCPC is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, 

University of Calgary, member of Hotchkiss Brain Institute and Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research & Education. Dr. Plamondon trained in 

Human Kinetics, University of Windsor, and completed MD and PM&R residency training at McMaster University. She is a former program director for the PM&R Residency Training program, PMR Quality Improvement and Simulation lead, Member of Cumming School of Medicine UCalgary Health Humanities Committee, Arts and Neurosciences community group of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, and co-founder of a Neuroarts Coalition “HEAR Music Alberta” (Health Education, Advocacy and Research for Music). She facilitates the Calgary Zone Music therapy adult inpatient program as medical lead for the last 7 years, co-founded and co-chairs Calgary Tertiary Neurorehab Patient Safety and Quality Council. Her area of clinical practice is Adult Neuromuscular Rehabilitation as well as research and quality improvement interest.
