November 29th Networking Event for all NMD4C Members

The NMD4C are excited to extend an invitation to our members to join us at a Networking Event on November 29th at 2:10pm ET. This event is open to all NMD4C members and is an opportunity to meet and network with fellow colleagues, early-career clinicians and researchers, NMD4C investigators and working group members, and to discuss all things neuromuscular!

In recent times, the sweeping migration of meetings and conferences to online platforms has resulted in fewer opportunities for informal networking and interaction that would normally be far more accessible at the variety of meetings and conferences which are hosted during a regular, in-person calendar year. To address this gap, the NMD4C, with input from our early-career community, has made the decision to host a networking event in Gathertown – a platform that offers attendees the flexibility to join discussions within a group, and in private one-on-one meeting spaces. The NMD4C strives to provide opportunities for our early-career members to meet and network with each other, and to create spaces for open discussion between early-career clinicians and researchers and prominent investigators from a variety of areas within the neuromuscular landscape; these informal discussions are an invaluable resource where collaborations are born, ideas nurtured and future research directions discovered.

The event will take place on Monday, November 29th from 2:10 – 3:00pm ET, during the network’s Annual Investigator Meeting. While the Investigator Meeting is open only to the network investigators and working group members, the networking event is open to all members, and offers the opportunity to network with the NMD4C’s steering committee, investigators, leaders and contributors who will be in attendance.
