Physiatry Sharing Session- Awareness of bone strength in patients with NMDs
We’re thrilled to have Dr. Marianne Nury chairing this session, where we’ll discuss a recent publication by Kruse et al., titled: “Awareness of bone strength in patients with neuromuscular disorders: ERN EURO-NMD clinician survey and European patient survey.”
During the session, we will:
- Review and comment on Dr. Nury’s case studies and share our perspectives.
- Discuss the featured publication – its rationale, methods, and findings.
- Reflect on your own experiences: Have you received training on bone strength in NMDs? In what clinical scenarios have you initiated bone strength assessments in your patients? Would your survey responses have aligned with the study’s findings?
