The Neuromuscular Clinical Trial Personnel Community of Practice offers a space for Canadian clinical research coordinators and other trial staff to share and exchange knowledge, professional experience, and resources with a group of fellow clinical research coordinators and managers at sites across Canada. Currently, 46 clinical trial coordinators and managers are part of this community of practice with varying levels of experience ranging from junior to senior roles. They work with both pediatric and adult clientele, handling clinical trials across different age groups and neuromuscular conditions.
Who is this Community of Practice for?
The CoP is open to all personnel involved in neuromuscular clinical trials operations.
Activities
Clinical Trial Education Sessions (bimonthly)
The Community of Practice will meet every two months to learn from a fellow member of the Community of Practice who is subject-matter expert on selected topics in the coordination of clinical trials. The topics are selected based on the specific needs of the Community of Practice, with input gathered from surveys and open discussions.
Open Forums (biannually):
The Community of Practice for CRCs meet once every six months for an open forum to discuss professional accomplishments, emerging challenges and work through shared obstacles in conducting clinical trials in Canada.
